Meet Dr. Kanase

Dr. Kanase has been practicing pediatrics in the Oak Cliff area of South Dallas for over 20 years. Practicing in her current location for over 17 years, she continues to provide care to many of her original patients and now their children. Watching her patients grow and develop into young adults is the most rewarding aspect of her practice, here in this diverse and dynamic community. She feels privileged to take care of her patients and be an integral part of their family.

She uses her own experiences as a mother to understand the needs of her patients and their families. She appreciates the trust put in her by parents. Using the foundations of scientific evidence-based medicine, she has a common sense approach to help guide patients and parents to better health. She likes to have an open and honest line of communication with both the patients and parents, while working hard to educate them regarding all aspects of their well-being.

Dr. Kanase graduated from Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine (Fort Worth, Texas) in 1995 and completed her pediatric residency from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (Lubbock, Texas) in 1998. She has been married for over 25 years and has two daughters who are also pursuing careers in the medical field. She enjoys crafting, party planning, and gardening during her time away from work.
